Alec Harrell joins Northern Trust and other investor moves

Alec Harrell, CFA, portfolio manager, Northern Trust Investments, West Palm Beach, FL.

Harrell was previously at Convergent Fund Management, which he also co-founded. Prior to that, he worked as an analyst with Needelman Asset Management. Harrell is a member of the South Florida Financial Analysts Society.

Peter de Lacy, analyst, Bank of Ireland Asset Management, Dublin, Ireland.

A senior research analyst covering technology and telecommunication stocks, De Lacy was previously a portfolio manager at Marble Bar Asset Management and prior to that, a portfolio manager at DE Capital Management. He has also previously worked as an analyst on the Japanese equities team at Threadneedle Investments, where he covered small-cap technology, telecommunications, retail and consumer staples.

Matthew Lanstone, analyst, London, UK.

Lanstone is a member of Capital Research Global Investors. He previously covered oil and gas stocks at Goldman Sachs and was ranked number one out of a total of 2,700 analysts covering European stocks in Forbes’ top 10 earnings estimators for 2005.

Caspar Trenchard, portfolio manager, Standard Life Investments, Edinburgh, UK.

Trenchard was previously a portfolio manager at First State Investments International. Before that, he worked for Numis Securities, HSBC, Cazenove and Merrill Lynch.

Remi Browne, CFA, portfolio manager/analyst, Munder Capital Management, Boston, MA.

Browne is managing director of Munder Capital Management’s international equity team and covers financials. He also manages the international core equity portion of the Munder Asset Allocation Balanced Fund. He was previously the CIO of international equities and the co-lead portfolio manager of the international core team at The Boston Company Asset Management. Prior to that, he was head of Ark Asset Management’s institutional effort. Browne has also worked as head of global active equity research at State Street Bank.

Daniel LeVan, CFA, portfolio manager/analyst, Munder Capital Management, Boston, MA.

LeVan is the director of Munder Capital Management’s small-cap equity discipline and lead manager of the Munder International Small-Mid Cap Fund. He is also a member of the international equity team that covers healthcare and technology stocks. LeVan previously covered technology for the international core team at The Boston Company Asset Management. Prior to that, he served as a captain in the US Air Force.

Robert Cerow, CFA, portfolio manager/analyst, Munder Capital Management, Boston, MA.

Cerow is a member of the international equity team covering telecommunication services. He was previously a member of the international core equity team at The Boston Company Asset Management.

John Evers, CFA, portfolio manager/analyst, Munder Capital Management, Boston, MA.

Evers is a member of the international equity team and covers energy. He was previously a member of the international core team at The Boston Company Asset Management. Prior to that, he was with Wellington Management Company and Aetna Life & Casualty Company.
