Northland Resources has brought in Anders Antonsson as the exploration company’s new vice president of investor relations.
‘Northland is experiencing increased investor interest as the firm moves from a development company to an iron concentrate producer,’ says Karl-Axel Waplan, Northland’s president and CEO, in a statement.
Last month, Northland agreed to sell its non-ferrous assets to Orex Minerals as part of its strategy to focus on the development of its iron ore deposits.
Antonsson most recently worked as a senior consultant at Stockholm-based RHR Corporate Communications. Before this, he was head of corporate communications and IR at Intrum Justitia Group, which is headquartered in Nacka, Sweden.
Northland has a portfolio of iron ore projects in Sweden and Finland. The company is traded on Toronto Stock Exchange and the Oslo Børs.
