Dr Pepper Snapple Group (DPS) has promoted vice president of IR Carolyn Ross to head of investor relations, effective immediately.
She takes over the running of the IR department from Aly Noormohamed, DPS’ senior director of finance, who is taking up a new role as general manager of the company’s warehouse direct business.
In a statement, NYSE-listed DPS notes that Ross has handled day-to-day IR duties since 2009.
‘Carolyn has played an important role in the success of our investor relations function,’ says Marty Ellen, CFO of DPS, in the statement.
‘Her financial acumen, understanding of our business and industry relationships will serve DPS well.’
A graduate of the University of North Texas, Ross has held various finance roles during her seven years at DPS and its predecessor companies.
