The best IR teams in the world

This is an edited version of IR Magazine Week, IR Magazine‘s weekly newsletter. To receive the newsletter, please register here.

What do Spain’s Amadeus, US-based Intel, Brazil’s Kroton and China’s Lenovo have in common? They all appear in the Global Top 50, a new ranking of companies based on their IR performance compiled by IR Magazine.

While the order of the ranking will not be revealed until November, the companies that make up the Global Top 50 have now been released in an alphabetical list.

You can see which companies made the 50 in the research report that comes with the September edition of IR Magazine. The report is also available to download from our website.

At IR Magazine, we’ve been conducting surveys of portfolio managers, buy-side analysts and sell-side analysts for years to uncover the best IR performers in six markets – US, Canada, Europe, Brazil, Greater China and South East Asia.

With companies increasingly competing for capital on a global basis, however, it makes sense to also compare IR performance across the globe. So we took the results from each region and combined them to produce the Global Top 50.

The actual ranking order of the 50 companies will be revealed at the Global Investor Relations Forum, an event co-hosted by IR Magazine and NIRI, and held in partnership with BNY Mellon, taking place between November 18-November 20 in New York.

At that event, awards will be handed out to the top five companies, as well as three special awards for Global Top Small Cap, Global Top Mid-Cap and Global Top IRO. But for now, I want to wish big and thoroughly deserved congratulations to all the companies that made it into the Global Top 50.
