Sweden’s Com Hem hires new IR director

Petra von Rohr, a partner and head of financial communications at Kreab Gavin Anderson, is leaving the consultancy’s Stockholm branch after three years to join Com Hem’s executive management team as director of investor relations and corporate communications.

Von Rohr graduated from the Stockholm School of Economics and from McGill University, starting her career as an equity analyst covering the Scandinavian region for Cazenove in London and the Scandinavian retail sector at SBC Warburg in Sweden.

From 2006 to 2008 she served as CEO for Remium, a local investment bank focusing on small-cap companies, subsequently heading Burson-Marsteller’s Swedish operations for almost three years. She also held leadership positions at PR agency Patriksson Communication and advertising agency Graceland Stockholm, and was chairman of the board of communications agency Wildeco from 2008 to 2009.

Com Hem, a former part of state-owned Televerket, was acquired after Televerket’s privatization by private equity firms EQT and BC Partners, and listed on NASDAQ OMX Stockholm in June 2014. The firm posted revenues up 7 percent to SEK4.76 bn ($570 mn), for a net loss of SEK1.05 bn in 2014.
