London-based Balderton Capital has appointed Anna Thomsen as head of investor relations. Thomsen will work closely with the investment team to support the firm’s investor relations and fundraising activities.
She joins from Paulson & Co, where she was director of investor relations. Balderton Capital is one of Europe’s leading technology-focused venture capital firms managing $2.3 bn.
Previously Thomsen worked for the Boston Consulting Group for over four years, advising companies in a range of sectors, in both London and New York.
She is returning to the technology industry, having started her career at Google, in the international advertising operations team.
Thomsen earned a double Bachelor of Arts in international relations and linguistics at Stanford University, and an MBA from Harvard Business School
