Goodlettsville, Tennessee-based Dollar General has appointed Jennifer Beugelmans as its new vice president of investor relations and public relations, effective last week.
In this role, Beugelmans oversees Dollar General’s investor relations, public relations, corporate communications and community initiatives functions. She reports to John Garratt, Dollar General’s executive vice president and CFO.
Beugelmans most recently served as vice president of IR at Etsy, where she established an IR team following the company’s initial public offering in 2015. She has also previously served as Etsy’s vice president of financial planning and analysis and as interim vice president of communications. Her career experience includes leadership roles at Joele Frank, Pure Communications and EVC Group.
Dollar General operates roughly 14,300 stores in 44 states across the US.
