Rollins promotes finance official to IR role

Pest control company Rollins has promoted Julie Bimmerman to vice president of finance and investor relations.

Bimmerman, who was previously managing director of finance with the firm, has added IR and the payroll group to her areas of responsibility. It is the first time the company has had a dedicated IR position.

Bimmerman joined Rollins in 2015 as managing director of specialty brands accounting and was promoted in 2016 to manage the finance department. She is based at the company’s Atlanta headquarters and reports to Rollins CFO Eddie Northen. Before joining Rollins, she was at HomeTeam Pest Defense, one of Rollins’ subsidiaries, where she served as vice president of finance and corporate controller. Among other things, she has launched a data analytics group and led the technological automation in finance.

‘Julie has done a tremendous job in leading the Rollins finance team,’ Northen says in a statement. ‘She has made significant improvements in very diverse disciplines of the company. Julie is uniquely qualified for this position through her work with most of the Rollins businesses.’

Other Rollins wholly owned subsidiaries include Critter Control, Orkin, Orkin Canada, PermaTreat, Rollins UK, The Industrial Fumigant Company, Trutech and Western Pest Services. According to Rollins, this group of companies has more than 2 mn customers in the US, Canada, Central America, South America, the Caribbean, the Middle East, Asia, Europe, Africa and Australia.
