Westlake, Ohio-based Nordson Corporation has recruited Lara Mahoney as vice president of investor relations & corporate communications, reporting directly to executive vice president and chief financial officer Greg Thaxton.
Mahoney succeeds Jim Jaye, who moved to paint company Sherwin-Williams in late 2017. Before joining Nordson, Mahoney was vice president of IR & marketing communications for Invacare Corporation, where she had worked since 2004. In her new role, she is charged with overseeing the execution of Nordson’s communication strategy to the company’s internal and external stakeholders, including shareholders, customers, employees and communities.
Nordson Corporation engineers, manufactures and markets products and systems used to dispense, apply and control adhesives, coatings, polymers, sealants, biomaterials and other fluids, to test and inspect for quality and to treat and cure surfaces. The company has operations and support offices in almost 40 countries.
