Sinclair Broadcast Group, the US-based media company, has brought in Steven Zenker as vice president of investor relations.
Zenker has held several IR and investment management roles over the previous 30 years, moving between the two fields on a number of occasions.
Most recently, he was vice president of finance – with responsibility for IR, FP&A and corporate communications – at consumer goods company Central Garden & Pet, where he worked for nine years.
Prior to that, he was senior vice president and portfolio manager at Bank of America Private Wealth Management between 2007 and 2011.
Earlier in his career, Zenker held IR and communications roles at WCI Communities and Plug Power. He also worked as a senior portfolio manager for McCabe Capital Managers, now known as Drexel Morgan Capital Advisers.
‘We believe Steve’s background in investor relations and portfolio management will enhance our engagement with Wall Street, lenders and investors,’ says Lucy Rutishauser, Sinclair’s CFO, in a statement.
‘Not only has Steve launched successful investor relations programs, but he has also managed the financial planning & analysis function, participated in capital market raises, and architected messaging to Wall Street for companies undergoing changes.’
