People moves: Anna Gavrilova takes the IR wheel at Polestar

Changes also come at Yukon Metals, The RMR Group and JPMorgan

Polestar, the Swedish electric car manufacturer, has appointed Anna Gavrilova as its new head of IR.

Gavrilova has more than 18 years of experience in the IR profession. Most recently, she served as head of IR at UK online car marketplace Cazoo. She has also run IR teams at Flora and Mitie Group.

‘I’m glad to welcome Anna to the Polestar team at a very exciting point of our journey,’ says Jean-François Mady, Polestar’s CFO, in a statement.

‘Her proven track record of executing IR engagement programs, combined with her experience in managing financial communication for corporate events, will be of great value to us as we deliver on our recently announced business plan.’

Elsewhere, Canadian miner Yukon Metals has named Kaeli Gattens as vice president of IR and communications.

Gattens brings with her more than 15 years of experience in the mining and metals sector, with roles covering IR, ESG, corporate development and digital transformation, according to a company release

Most recently, she was vice president of corporate development at the JDS Group of Companies. Prior to that, she worked for Sun Peak Metals, VRIFY, Finning Digital and Goldcorp.

‘Kaeli brings with her a vast experience operating across the mining space with a large network of stakeholders, and she has already made a meaningful contribution to Yukon Metals in a very short amount of time.’

In other people news, The RMR Group, the US alternative asset management company focused on commercial real estate, has brought in Bryan Maher as head of IR and senior vice president.

Maher joins from B Riley Securities where he was a senior analyst and managing director covering REITs, lodging companies and alternative asset managers.

In total, he has more than 25 years of experience on the sell side, with prior roles at Craig-Hallum Capital, Citadel Securities and RBC Capital Markets.

Finally, Christina Lane has been promoted to executive director of IR at JPMorgan, according to a post on her LinkedIn profile. She has been with the banking group since 2022, serving up until now as vice president of IR – ESG. Previously, Lane worked in IR at Fannie Mae.
