Abdullah S.F AlGhamdi

Abdullah is a Senior Governance Consultant at stc. His focus area is Subsidiary Governance. He works to build a common understanding on Legal, Governance and Compliance matters between stc and its subsidiaries. He worked as a corporate lawyer at Petro Rabigh, Emaar (King Abdullah Economic City) and the Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul). He was raised in Montreal, Canada. In addition to Arabic and English, he is fluent in French. He studied undergraduate and postgraduate law in England and has a Masters degree from IE University in Madrid. He has participated in many speaking engagements on various Governance, Legal and Compliance topics. Additionally, he is a country representative for the Association of Corporate Counsel (ACC) – the global bar associaton for in-house lawyers – in Saudi Arabia. He is a member of GCC Board Directors Institute Board Secretary Advisory Board and a member of the The Corporate Governance Artificial Intelligence Advisory Counsel.
