People moves: Isabel Green bids farewell to Rolls-Royce

Isabel Green, former EVP and head of IR at London-listed multinational aerospace and defense company Rolls-Royce, has left the business.

In a LinkedIn post published last week, Green wrote: ‘It has been a privilege to lead the IR team at Rolls-Royce for the last four and half years. I have worked with fantastic people and seen enormous changes over that time. I am very proud of what we have achieved together. It has been a roller-coaster ride and it is great to be able to leave this week on a high note.’

The company has now appointed Jeremy Bragg, who has already served as director of IR at the firm for two years, as head of investor relations.

‘I am also delighted that Jeremy has been chosen to lead the IR team as my successor,’ Green added in her LinkedIn message. ‘I will continue to watch the company’s transformation from the outside and wish my colleagues, our investors and analysts all the best for the years ahead.’

This week, Green updated her work section on LinkedIn to director of IR at private company HBX Group.

Earlier this year, Rolls-Royce received two nominations at the IR Magazine Awards – Europe 2024, including best IR officer (large cap), which saw Bragg contending for the prize. Under Green’s leadership, the firm bagged one trophy at the awards ceremony for best investor event (large cap).

Elsewhere, NYSE-listed firm Alcoa Corporation announced a transition to its IR leadership, appointing Louis Langlois as SVP of treasury and capital markets, effective September 1, 2024.

Langlois, who has been working at Alcoa for more than 12 years in various roles, will replace Jim Dwyer, who has been leading the IR function for more than eight years and has worked at the firm for more than three decades.

Langlois’ previous tenures include roles at Bell Canada, Deloitte and Arthur Andersen, where he worked in various tax leadership roles supporting corporate restructuring and M&A transactions.

‘Louis will extend the strong relationships he currently has with our banks, advisers and rating agencies to our investors, as well as maintain the transparency and openness that Alcoa prides itself on,’ says Molly Beerman, EVP and CFO of Alcoa, in an official statement published yesterday.

‘Louis has extensive financial management experience and a thorough understanding of Alcoa’s business, which will benefit our current and potential shareholders.’

Alcoa also announced that as part of its IR transition, Yolande Doctor, currently senior manager of IR, will be promoted to director of IR ‘with responsibility for day-to-day management of Alcoa’s investor community relationships.’
