Covidien was the big winner for the second year in a row at the 17th annual IR Magazine US Awards on March 22, 2012. Cole Lannum, vice president of investor relations, talks about his lean IR team’s 24/7/365 commitment, a novel approach to sell-side corporate access, and how Covidien handled a CEO transition last year. Covidien won the grand prix for best overall IR prpgram – large cap, best IR professional – large cap, best investment community meetings, and best IR in sector – healthcare.
