New IR manager at Vastned

Rotterdam-headquartered Vastned, which invests in prime location retail space across Europe and Turkey, has appointed Anneke Hoijtink as investor relations manager, starting next month. She will report to the firm’s CEO Taco de Groot.

She joins Vastned from BinckBank, a Dutch financial group specializing in online banking and retail brokerage, where she has been an investor relations manager since 2009. Prior to this, she was an investor relations officer at insurance company Achmea.

Hoijtink graduated with a BA in international business and management from the Dutch university of applied science Hogeschool van Arnhem en Nijmegen and a master’s degree in finance from Tilburg University.

She started her career in 2006 as an analyst for risk management advisory firm Interest & Currency Consultants. She is a member of the board of NEVIR, the Dutch IR society.

Vastned has also announced that former IR director Arnaud du Pont has been promoted to managing director of investments and operations. His new role will cover international coordination of acquisitions and disposals, property operations and account management.

Du Pont, who has been heading the IR department since 2003, joined Vastned in 2000 as a tax manager, after working for five years as a tax consultant for BDO and PwC successively. He is an economics graduate of Avans University in Tilburg and holds an LLM in tax law from the Erasmus University in Rotterdam.
