NASDAQ-listed Amarantus BioScience Holdings has hired Russell Miller as its director of investor relations.
Prior to joining Amarantus, Miller served as director of investor relations at Houston-based US Data Works and also at Force Protection, an armored vehicle manufacturer. He brings a wealth of financial experience to the role, having spent 20 years raising capital for both public and private companies through real estate funding and development.
In addition, Miller has worked as a consultant for various companies developing growth plans and building relationships between investment bankers, government relations officers and public relations firms.
Miller arrives with a strong contact book and Amarantus hopes his previous interactions and working relationships formed with investors and investment institutions will bring long-term benefits to its IR program.
Amarantus is a development-stage biotech company headquartered near San Jose, California. Founded in January 2008, it has a market capitalization of just under $20 mn and specializes in the development of treatments for diseases associated with neurodegeneration and apoptosis.
