Altran hires Euronext IRO

Stephanie Bia, former IRO of the Euronext Exchange, has been hired by French engineering consulting group Altran to serve as head of IR.

A graduate from the Toulouse School of Economics and alumnus of French business school HEC’s executive MBA, Bia started her career as a business analyst at the Paris Stock Exchange, subsequently part of NYSE Euronext where she served as IRO from 2001 to 2009.

After five years at IR advisory firm FTI Consulting, she re-joined Euronext as head of IR and was promoted to head of IR and business performance in 2014. During her tenure she managed the listing of Euronext in four countries and was instrumental in broadening her firm’s investor base internationally, according to a company release.

As Paris-headquartered Altran’s group vice president of IR, Bia will report to CFO Albin Jacquemont.

Altran is a constituent of the French mid-cap index CAC Mid 60 and employs more than 29,000 people globally.
