Aker Carbon Capture, a leading carbon-capture specialist listed on Euronext Growth, has appointed David Phillips as head of UK and investor relations, effective August 1, 2021.
He is also supporting IR at Aker Horizons, a planet-positive investment company dedicated to developing companies within renewable energy.
Aker Horizons was created as a new holding company for Aker Offshore Wind and Aker Carbon Capture. Aker Horizons is listed on Euronext Growth and is majority-owned by Aker, a Norwegian holding company engaged in offshore fishing, construction and engineering.
Phillips joins from HSBC’s global banking and markets business, where he worked in London as head of equity research for Europe, and before this in New York as global head of resources and energy research.
Phillips’ previous experience includes the head of industry and investor relations at Aker Solutions, a Norwegian engineering company, which was majority controlled by Aker until 2007.
