Buchanan gains more financial PR clients than any other company during Q3

Buchanan has jumped into second place in a list of the most-used advisers after adding more financial PR clients during Q3 than any of its rivals, according to the latest study by Adviser Rankings.

Between May and August, Buchanan added seven clients, bringing its total to 75. Camarco, which overtook Buchanan in the Q2 rankings, has dropped into third place after failing to gain any new clients during Q3. It currently has 73 clients, according to Adviser Rankings.

FTI Consulting remains top of the list with 138 clients, two more than in the previous quarterly report.

Brunswick climbs back into fourth place after adding one new client during Q3, bringing its total to 62; this comes after falling into fifth place in Q2. But Brunswick still tops the list when it comes to the combined market cap of the businesses it advises.

For FTSE 100 company clients, Brunswick continues to lead with 23 financial PR clients, gaining one new client during Q3. Matching the Q2 rankings, Teneo remains in second place with 12, having failed to gain any new clients during this quarter.

Finsbury Glover Hering moves up to joint-third with Tulchan Communications, both having 11 FTSE 100 clients. FTI Consulting has dropped into fifth place after losing a FTSE 100 client over the quarter, bring its total to 10.

In the FTSE 250 rankings, which remain the same as in Q2, FTI Consulting continues to dominate with 34 clients, gaining one over the quarter. Tulchan Communications remains in second place with 23, also gaining one client in Q3.

Brunswick, MHP Communications and Finsbury Glover Hering retain their positions from the previous quarter in third, fourth and fifth, respectively.

Montfort Communications has broken into the FTSE 250 client list, sharing 18th place with Smithfield Consultants after Montfort Communications began providing consultancy services for Temple Bar Investment Trust.

FTSE 350 rankings also remain the same as Q2, with FTI Consulting on top with 44 clients. Brunswick, Tulchan Communications and Finsbury Glover Hering remain in second, third and fourth place, respectively, with no new clients for this quarter. MHP Communications continues in fifth place but has gained one new client over the quarter.
