The awards are split across two groups. The awards-by-research categories, which cover best overall IR, best IRO and best IR in sector, are based on a survey of investors and sell-side analysts who cover companies in the region, with respondents voting for their favorite companies and individuals.

As well as the researched awards, 12 trophies were given out in the awards-by-nomination categories, where companies can submit entries across a range of subjects for judging by an expert panel.

This year’s panel featured:

  • Garnet Roach, senior reporter, IR Magazine
  • William Tsang, head of research, Chartwell Capital
  • Simon Weston, senior fund manager, AXA Investment Managers
