People moves: Pantheon and Brooks Macdonald secure new IR heads

This week in investor relations sees Pantheon, a global private markets investor, promote Justin Mallis to partner of the firm’s global investor relations team.

In his role he takes ownership of the group product strategy and campaign management function.

Prior to his promotion, Mallis was global head of product strategy and fundraising at Pantheon, where he focused on centralizing, co-ordinating and streamlining investment strategy messaging for the fundraising of Pantheon’s institutional strategies.

Before joining Pantheon, he spent more than 18 years on the buy side and sell side, most recently as a principal at First Avenue Partners, a global placement agent.

‘I am very pleased today to recognize the contributions through our annual promotion round,’ says Paul Ward, managing partner at Pantheon. ‘Harnessing the specialist expertise and initiative of all our people is the cornerstone of Pantheon’s culture – and it is the key to delivering on our mission to invest with purpose, lead with expertise [and] build secure financial futures.’

Elsewhere, Sarah Lewandowski has joined investment management company Brooks Macdonald as head of investor relations. She was previously interim head of investor relations at Rathbones Group.

In this new role, Lewandowski leads the IR function and aims to maintain and deepen the firm’s relationships with analysts and investors.

Andrea Montague, chief financial officer of Brooks Macdonald, says: ‘Sarah has a wealth of experience in investor relations and serving as an investment analyst. Her appointment reflects our commitment to strengthen our engagement with the investment community and communicate our value proposition and ambitious growth strategy.’
