At the IR Magazine Awards – Europe 2024, we spoke to Eugeniu Baltag, director of IR at Moldovan company Purcari Wineries Group.
The company, which is listed on the Bucharest Stock Exchange, has experienced several challenges over the past two years in relation to the Russian invasion of Ukraine.
Baltag, who was one of the contenders for this year’s rising star award, explains that as the war started in February 2022, the company’s stock price experienced a decline. Despite challenges, IR efforts leveraging agility and transparency with investors were crucial in maintaining trust and helping the share price to recover.
