This year the IR Impact Awards introduces four new awards categories: best buy-side management, best CEO letter, best IR impact and best sell-side management, bringing the total categories to 22. IR Impact received over one hundred nominations in total from a diverse range of companies. Thailand continues to lead this year with the highest number of companies shortlisted, at 22 nominations.
The winners will be revealed at an awards ceremony at the Singapore Stock Exchange on December 2.
The awards will take place after a morning of invigorating discussions at the IR Impact Forum – South East Asia, where IROs will be addressing practical strategies, rising challenges and key challenges they face in the wider region, with speakers from leading companies in the industry.
The IR Impact Awards fall into two award types: research and nomination. The research categories are based on a survey of buy-side and sell-side analysts and portfolio managers. In the nomination categories, companies can tell their own stories through their own awards entries, with winners chosen by a panel of esteemed judges.
This year, the IR Impact judging panel comprises of:
- Ekasit Kunadirekwong, associate director, equity research department, SCB Asset Management
- Joshua Lee, portfolio manager, Lombard Odier
- Jeannie Ong, operating partner, investor relations, Temasek
- Stephanie Tan, head of investor strategy and development, Bursa Malaysia
- Laurie Havelock, editor, IR Impact
