Lindsey Stewart
Lindsey Stewart is the director of investment stewardship research on Morningstar’s global manager research team. Lindsey analyzes asset managers’ sustainable investing policies and practices – particularly their corporate engagement, proxy voting and public policy engagement activities on key ESG topics, including climate change, biodiversity, workforce and supply chain issues, gender and racial equity, board composition and diversity, and shareholder rights. Lindsey joined Morningstar in 2022 from the UK Financial Reporting Council where he was head of stakeholder engagement. Prior to that, his career spans over 20 years in investor relations consulting, equity research and financial reporting and regulation at KPMG and Makinson Cowell. Lindsey qualified as a Chartered Global Management Accountant with AICPA-CIMA, and he also holds the CFA Charterholder designation.
