Mei Ashelford
As the director of reporting intelligence at Gather London, Mei Ashelford advises clients on the ever-evolving regulatory landscape in corporate governance, reporting and sustainability, helping them craft annual reports that tell their story whilst being compliant and striving for best practice.
Ashelford is a chartered accountant with over 20 years of technical reporting experience, which include over six years as a Project director at the Financial Reporting Council where she oversaw the delivery of several high-profile reporting regulatory projects. In 2021, she was appointed to the FRC’s Advisory Panel – a pool of experts that support the regulator on delivery of their activities – and to the ICAEW’s Financial Reporting Faculty Board.
