Julie Dewey

Chief IR & communications officer

Julie Dewey currently serves as the Chief Investor Relations and Communications Officer at Orthofix Medical Inc (NASDAQ: OFIX). A seasoned executive with more than 25 years of experience in investor relations, corporate communications and marketing leadership roles, Ms. Dewey has held corporate officer roles for several global publicly traded medical device companies.

Prior to joining Orthofix, Ms. Dewey served as Chief Communications and Investor Relations Officer at Treace Medical Concepts, Inc., and as Chief Corporate Communications and IR Officer at Nevro Corp. Before that, she was Senior Vice President and Chief Communications Officer at Wright Medical Group, N.V., a leading orthopedics company focused on extremities and biologics that was acquired by Stryker in 2020.  Earlier in her career, Ms. Dewey held investor relations and marketing positions ev3 Inc., Kyphon Inc. and Thoratec Corporation.

Julie Dewey was honored by Investor Relations Magazine as Best IR Officer for a small- and mid-cap company for five consecutive years from 2014 to 2018. During this period, Investor Relations Magazine also honored Wright Medical for “Best Overall Investor Relations” for a small-midcap company four times and for “Best Use of Technology and Social Media for IR” in 2018. She was also named one of IR Magazine’s “30 IR Stars Over 30 Years” in 2018.  In addition to these awards, she was ranked the #1 IRO in Institutional Investor’s All-America Executive Team small-midcap rankings eight times from 2016 to 2024. Institutional Investor also recognized Wright Medical as one of America’s Most Honored Companies for five consecutive years from 2015 to 2019 and recognized Nevro Corp as a Most Honored Company from 2022 to 2024.

Julie holds a BS in Business Administration from the University of Southern California and an MBA from Pepperdine University. Ms. Dewey is a Fellow of the National Investor Relations Institute (NIRI), served on the NIRI Board from 2016 to 2019 and holds the Investor Relations Charter (IRC) credential.
