Theresa Jang

Theresa Jang has served as the executive vice president and chief financial officer for Stantec Inc. since January 2019 and announced her retirement in 2024. As CFO, Theresa oversaw all aspects of Stantec’s global financial operations. She also chaired Stantec’s Executive ESG Committee, supporting the Company’s commitment to achieving its sustainability priorities, and previously served on the UN’s CFO Taskforce for the Sustainable Development Goals.

Prior to joining Stantec, Theresa spent over 25 years in financial leadership roles in the North America energy infrastructure sector.

In fulfilling her strong commitment to her community, Theresa serves on the STARS Air Ambulance Board of Directors. And in May 2024, Theresa is standing for election to the Board of Directors for Enbridge Inc.

Theresa holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Calgary and a Chartered Professional Accountant (Chartered Accountant) designation. In 2020, Theresa was awarded Fellowship status by the Chartered Professional Accountants of Alberta in recognition of her achievements in her career and in the community.

Theresa was recognized by the Women’s Executive Network (WXN) as a 2022 Canada’s Most Powerful Women: Top 100 award winner, which celebrates outstanding women who create meaningful change in the way they lead within their organizations and communities.

And in 2024, the Environmental Financial Consulting Group named Theresa as EFCG’s CFO of the Year for her outstanding leadership in the architecture, engineering, and consulting industry.
