Adriana Mitchell

Adriana Mitchell is a seasoned legal executive with deep expertise in corporate governance, securities law, and public company operations. She currently leads the Office of the Corporate Secretary at Truist where she serves as a key liaison to management and the board of directors on corporate governance and securities matters. Prior to joining Truist, Adriana spent over eight years at Global Payments Inc., where she led legal strategy on corporate securities, finance and tax matters, and advised on SEC compliance, ESG, executive compensation, and shareholder engagement. Earlier in her career, Adriana was a Senior Corporate Counsel at Jack Cooper, where she focused on corporate governance and legal infrastructure to support the company’s growth and evolving capital structure.  This experience gave her a strong foundation in private-to-public company transitions and capital market preparedness.

Prior to going in-house, Adriana was a corporate attorney at Paul Hastings LLLP.
