Brandon Throop

Brandon Throop is the Director of Investor Relations at New Gold Inc., a Canadian-focused intermediate mining company. With over six years of investor relations experience in the mining sector, he previously served on the investor relations team at Lundin Mining, which was recognized with the 2021 Best Overall Investor Relations (Mid-Cap) award by IR Magazine (now IR Impact). Prior to his IR career, Brandon spent eight years in equity research, specializing in base and precious metals mining for leading banks and independent brokers. He is an active member of the Canadian Investor Relations Institute and the National Investor Relations Institute (U.S.), holding the Investor Relations Charter (IRC) designation. He is also currently pursuing the Certified Professional in Investor Relations designation.
