Carolynne Borders

Carolynne Bordersjoined General Electric in 2021 and is currently Chief Investor Relations Officer at GE HealthCare, a large-cap medical technology company, where she oversees all aspects of the company’s Investor Relations function. With more than 25 years of experience as an IR practitioner, Ms. Borders has a strong background in strategic narrative development, investor and analyst engagement, M&A messaging, and crisis communications. She is also a member of GE HealthCare’s Enterprise Stewardship Committee overseeing Sustainability and Enterprise Risk Management programs.

Prior to this, Ms. Borders served as Vice President of Investor Relations at Henry Schein and Vice President or Investor Relations & Corporate Communications at SMSC. Earlier she held a similar role at Andrea Electronics. 

Ms. Borders also served as a Senior Associate at The Financial Relations Board, one of the largest investor relations agencies at the time, representing the firm’s technology clientele. She was Co-founder and Executive Vice President of LI Invest, a former not-for-profit organization that promoted investment in public and private companies in the Long Island region of New York.

She has received industry recognition for contributions at GE HealthCare and Henry Schein, including ranking among the top three IROs for Best IR Professional and/or Best IR Program by Extel for multiple years. Ms. Borders earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business from Marist College.
