Dave Bezanson

David is currently the VP Investor Relations and Pensions for Emera Inc. a Canadian public company listed on the TSX and part of the TSX60.  Emera owns a portfolio of electric and natural gas utility companies in the USA, Canada, and the Caribbean.  David is responsible for managing the investor relations function for Emera with its global investor base.  He is also responsible for overseeing the investment management of $4.1 billion in pensions assets.

David joined Emera in 2009 and has held a variety of leadership roles at Emera.  Most recently, David held the position of VP Commercial Operations for Emera Energy, a physical energy marketing and trading business, where he was responsible for leading the operations and strategic planning. 

David is a graduate of Acadia University and a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA).  He lives in Halifax N.S. with his wife and two teenage children.
