Lauren Scott

Lauren is a Senior Vice President at Edelman Smithfield, specializing in investor relations and strategic situations. She provides counsel and hands-on support to public and private companies related to ongoing IR programs and transformative events including investor days, M&A, IPOs, spin-offs, shareholder activism engagements, crisis scenarios, and leadership transitions.

Lauren brings in-house investor relations experience from her time working at Topgolf Callaway Brands (NYSE: MODG) and Brixmor Property Group (NYSE: BRX). As Director, Investor Relations at Topgolf Callaway Brands, she led all investor and analyst communications and engagement, partnered with management and finance to revise the investment thesis and reporting metrics following the Topgolf merger, and spearheaded the company’s 2022 Investor Day. At Brixmor, Lauren was Director, Investor Relations for the publicly traded real estate investment trust operating in the open-air shopping center space. In addition to her IR experience, Lauren also draws from her sell-side experience working at Citi in Equity Research covering REITs, and in Corporate Access. Lauren began her career at Thomson Reuters in the Advisory Services business. She has a BA from Vanderbilt University and an MS in Investor Relations from Fordham University.

Lauren is an active member of the National Investor Relations Institute (NIRI), previously serving on the board of the NIRI San Diego chapter and NIRI New York’s NextGen program. In 2021, she was recognized by NIRI as a“30 Under 40” Outstanding Young IR Professional.
