Lucy Fato is Executive Vice President, General Counsel & Corporate Secretary of Seaport Entertainment Group. She joined the Company in May 2024 after serving as Vice Chair of American International Group, Inc. (“AIG”) (NYSE: AIG) from 2023 until 2024. Prior to that, she was General Counsel and Global Head of Communications and Government Affairs at AIG beginning in October 2017 and served as interim Head of Human Resources from 2018 to 2019 and again from 2021 to 2022. Before AIG, Ms. Fato served as Head of the Americas and General Counsel of Nardello & Co., a global private investigative firm, where she continues to serve on the Advisory Board. Earlier in her career, she was General Counsel at McGraw-Hill Financial (now S&P Global Inc.; NYSE: SPGI) and Deputy General Counsel & Corporate Secretary at Marsh McLennan. (NYSE: MMC). Ms. Fato began her legal career at Davis Polk & Wardwell LLP, where she spent 14 years as a capital markets lawyer, including five as a partner. Ms. Fato currently serves on the Advisory Board of the Harvard Law School Center on the Legal Profession and on the Board of Visitors of the University of Pittsburgh and the University of Pittsburgh School of Law, as well as on the Board of Directors of the Alfred E. Smith Memorial Foundation. Ms. Fato earned a B.A. in Business and Economics from the University of Pittsburgh and a J.D. from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law.
