Marina Calero

Marina is a seasoned IR professional with extensive experience across various sectors and geographies. Having trained at Marks & Spencer, she advanced to international advisory IR roles in Europe and Emerging Markets developing and executing complex strategies while contributing to a variety of capital markets transactions including over 30 IPOs raising in excess of US$40bn. Over the last seven years Marina focused on building in-house IR and ESG capabilities as a Head of IR and Sustainability at a number of FTSE 250 companies. In her latest role at a global events company, Hyve Group, she navigated through a number of significant M&As, multi-jurisdictional disposals, equity raises, a significant refinancing and eventually a PE buy-out. Marina is a founder and host of the IRO Coffee Break network, the largest independent peer-to-peer network in Europe, facilitating monthly discussions among senior IR professionals. She is also a member of the IR Magazine editorial advisory board.
