Matt Latino is Senior Vice President, Finance and segment CFO of Measurement & Control Solutions (MCS) at Xylem. He is responsible for the oversight and execution of the financial performance of approximately $2 billion in annual revenue across the global segment as well as business partnership and achievement of key strategic initiatives in the business. He also founded and leads Xylem’s Finance Leadership Development Program (FLDP), a leadership rotation program in finance for recent college graduates.
Mr. Latino previously served as segment CFO of Xylem’s Americas Region and Applied Water segment from 2021 through 2024. Prior to that, he served as VP, Investor Relations at Xylem and led the program until May 2022. During that time, the market capitalization for Xylem increased by ~2.5x. He and the Xylem Investor Relations program were also named to the Institutional Investor All-America teams in 2019 and 2020, including the top award for ‘Most Honored Company’ in 2020 in the Electrical Equipment & Multi-Industry sector. He was also a finalist for the 2020 IR Magazine ‘Rising Star’ award.
Mr. Latino joined Xylem in 2012 as Manager, Financial Reporting. He was named Manager, Investor Relations in 2015, and was promoted to lead the Investor Relations program in early 2017. Prior to joining Xylem, he worked in the Audit Practice at Deloitte & Touche LLP where he helped to complete the Spin-Off of Xylem from ITT Corporation.
Mr. Latino earned a Bachelor of Science degree from the State University of New York College at Oneonta in Professional Accounting. He is a member of the NIRI Connecticut/Westchester Board of Directors and resides in Ridgefield, CT.
