Matthew Yates

Matthew Yates is a managing director in Equity Research and head of European Chemicals Research, based in London. He was #1 ranked in the 2024 II survey for European Chemicals. Yates was previously at BlackRock for five years as lead analyst for the European commodity sectors, such as Oil, Chemicals and Mining. Prior to that he was at Bank of America for 10 years when he covered Oil, Utilities and Technology. He has a BSc in economic history from the London School of Economics.
