Megan Larson

Megan Larson serves as Senior Advisor, Investor Relations at Murphy Oil Corporation, an independent oil and natural gas exploration and production company, where she assists with all aspects of investor relations and communications. Prior to joining Murphy in 2019, she had nearly 10 years’ experience in the energy banking industry, as well as several years in the journalism industry, polishing her skills in writing, copy editing and photography. Megan graduated with a Bachelor of Journalism from The University of Texas and a Master of Business Administration from Southern Methodist University. She also holds the Investor Relations Charter (IRC)®.

Aside from her efforts in supporting NIRI, Megan serves on the Board of Trustees at the Houston Yacht Club, is a director for the annual women’s sailing camp and volunteers on numerous committees. She also leads a mentor circle with the Women’s Energy Network – Houston. An avid sailor, Megan also enjoys traveling, hiking and spending time with her two Australian Shepherds – Bond and Stock.
