Michael Bennett

Michael Bennett is the VP Investor Relations at Schnitzer Steel Industries.  Schnitzer is one of North America’s largest recyclers of ferrous and nonferrous metals, selling to steel mills and foundries in the US and around the world.  By recycling metal, Schnitzer diverts millions of tons of materials each year that might otherwise be destined for landfills.  Prior to joining Schnitzer, Michael spent over a decade working in Europe in Investor Relations and Treasury roles at Holcim (formerly Lafarge), Aperam and ArcelorMittal.  Michael has a BA in International Relations from Tufts University and an MBA from London Business School.
