Payton McCoy is the co-founder and CEO of Greenshoe AI, a Chicago-based company building AI-native workflow tools for public-company reporting and SEC disclosure. Greenshoe is used by leading law firms and corporate legal teams to automate drafting, review, and benchmarking of filings — streamlining complex capital-markets and disclosure processes that traditionally require hundreds of hours of manual work.

Before founding Greenshoe, Payton was a corporate lawyer at Kirkland & Ellis and Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom, where he advised public companies and private equity firms on capital-markets transactions, technology and intellectual property matters, and corporate governance. His experience at the intersection of law, technology, and markets shaped Greenshoe’s mission to modernize how companies communicate with investors and regulators.

Greenshoe is emerging as a leading innovator in AI-driven disclosure and capital-markets technology, helping clients navigate the evolving relationship between automation, regulation, and the future of investor communication.
