Sonya Ghobrial

Sonya leads Investor Relations and Financial Communication at Diageo, the FTSE 100 spirits and beer company. Sonya joined Diageo just over a year and a half ago. Prior to Diageo she led IR at Haleon, the FTSE 100 first listed pure play consumer healthcare company that demerged from GSK in 2022, listing on the London Stock Exchange in the largest listing in the UK for a decade. She joined GSK in 2020 to build the IR function and work on all listing preparation for Haleon. Sonya also led IR at Heineken for 4 years and worked on the sell side for a decade mainly as an equity research analyst on beverages and more laterally the broader consumer sector at banks including Barclays, Goldman Sachs and Morgan Stanley.
She is also a NED and member of Audit and Risk Committee as well as the Remuneration Committee for LSL plc.
Sonya started her career qualifying as a Chartered Accountant with KPMG in Scotland.
