Stephen King

Stephen King, CPA, CA, MBA, is a dynamic and strategic leader with over 15 years of professional experience focused on creating shareholder value, with experience in professional services, construction and infrastructure, manufacturing, and financial services. Stephen joined NFI Group Inc. as Group Director, Corporate Development and Investor Relations in July 2018, reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer; he managed the Treasury department for a year, and, in May 2022, was promoted to Vice President, Strategy and Investor Relations. Stephen develops and executes on NFI’s strategic organizational objectives; oversees the company’s investor relations function; executes on merger and acquisition (M&A) opportunities; and analyzes emerging trends, expansion opportunities, and the competitive environment to generate and communicate shareholder value. He held previous roles as Director, Corporate Development and Investor Relations at Aecon Group; Manager, Financial Advisory for Deloitte Corporate Finance; and roles with RSA Canada, Johnson Inc., and BDC. He holds a Masters of Business Administration (MBA) from the Schulich School of Business, a Bachelor of Commerce from Memorial University of Newfoundland, and the Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation from CPA Canada.
