Vanessa Barrett

Vanessa is a member of the Global Industry Research Leadership Team and is responsible for the firm’s equity and credit research eƯorts in EMEA. In this role, she focuses on ensuring that we attract, retain, and motivate world-class analysts and investment talent; provide them with the resources, support, and ongoing feedback needed to excel; and undertake our work with a fiduciary mind-set and a collaborative spirit in order to make informed investment decisions on behalf of our clients.

Prior to joining the firm in 2014, Vanessa was the chief emerging markets credit strategist at Morgan Stanley in London (2010 – 2014). Before that, she was a credit analyst on the emerging markets fixed income trading desk and part of the European Bank Loan Portfolio Management Group at Credit Suisse in London.

Vanessa earned a Masters in Applied Finance and a Bachelor of Economics from Macquarie University, Sydney.
