As recent IR Impact research has shown, IR teams are increasingly picking and choosing where they deploy management when meeting their shareholder constituents out on the road.
According to Lisa Guarini, director, head of US corporate access at RBC Capital Markets, said that this was a theme that had become pronounced in 2026.
Speaking to us on the red carpet ahead of the IR Impact Awards – US 2026, she said that this meant it had made for a busy start to the year for her team.
‘A common theme that we’ve continued to see post-Covid is investor relations teams are being very judicious about how they use management’s time,’ she added.
‘[So we’re] being a little bit more creative in the way that we can engage with corporates and make sure we’re efficiently using their C-level executives’ time’.
