Every year, IR Insight, the research and intelligence unit of IR Magazine, conducts a series of extensive surveys among IROs, analysts and fund managers. Our global IRO survey is conducted twice a year, with one round in May and another round of fresh questions in November. Last year more than 1,400 IROs took part.
In addition, each year we conduct surveys among investors and analysts in five different geographical regions: the US, Canada, Europe, Greater China and South East Asia. Results from these surveys form the basis for IR Magazine’s awards, rankings and investor perception studies in each region. Overall, more than 2,100 investors and analysts took part in these surveys during 2012.
In this section of IR Magazine, we will be presenting original findings from our extensive primary research program, providing unique insights into both investor community and IRO practice and sentiment around the world. In certain selected themed editions of the magazine, this section will take the shape of an eight-page or 12-page special report.
We would like to thank all the people who have taken part in our surveys. Primary research is an interactive process and without your invaluable input there would no valuable output.
