ARC Resources was the biggest winner on the night, along with Agnico Eagle Mines, taking home awards for best overall investor relations (mid-cap), best investor relations officer (mid-cap) for David Carey, best financial reporting, best use of technology and best IR in the energy sector.
In the video below, Bevin Wirzba, senior vice president of business development and capital markets with the oil and gas producer, talks about how the company uses its IR website.
‘All of our investors get actual granular level detail about everything they ever need to know about our business,’ Wirzba told IR Magazine at the awards. ‘We also do quarterly videos with our CEO and senior officers…we try to give the audience and people that don’t normally see us on the road as individuals access to our executives.’
