Peter Krüger moves from Deutsche Bank to TUI

TUI Group has announced that Peter Krüger, a 13-year veteran of Deutsche Bank, will take over as group director of investor relations. Along with running TUI’s seven-strong IR team, he will also lead strategic and financial projects, the company says in a statement.

While at Deutsche Bank, Krüger worked on many M&A deals and other equity and debt transactions. His most recent position was managing director. Originally from Würzburg, a city in Germany’s Bavaria region, he holds a degree in business administration focused on investment banking and capital markets.

‘I am delighted that Peter Krüger, a manager with extensive capital market expertise, is joining our group,’ says Horst Baier, CFO at TUI, in the company statement. ‘I am confident he will give substantial impetus to the further development of our investor relations activities.’

TUI Group, Europe’s largest travel operator, is dual-listed in the UK and Germany. It operates IR offices in both locations, each with its own head of IR.

Krüger will succeed Andy Long, who left TUI at the beginning of the year, says a spokesperson for the company.
