Estée Lauder appoints senior vice president of IR

The Estée Lauder Companies, which includes brands such as Clinique, Tommy Hilfiger, DKNY and Jo Malone, has announced that Laraine Mancini will serve as senior vice president of investor relations, effective immediately.

Mancini will work closely with outgoing IR leader Dennis D’Andrea until his retirement on July 2, 2018. Following this transition, she will report directly into the company’s executive vice president and chief financial officer, Tracey Travis.

In her new role, Mancini is tasked with broadening awareness of The Estée Lauder Companies among global institutional investors by educating existing and prospective investors about the company’s strategy and performance.

Mancini has worked in a variety of finance roles throughout her career, including in IR roles at Univision and Time Warner Cable; in the latter position, she also spent time as vice president of corporate strategy and business development. Prior to working in-house, she was a sell-side analyst for 10 years, working at Merrill Lynch, Lehman Brothers and Donaldson Lufkin & Jenrette.

‘I am confident Laraine’s impressive financial market and investment analysis capabilities, combined with her extensive investor relations background and broad network of relationships, will further strengthen our investor relations initiatives and deepen the financial community’s view of our long-standing leadership in the industry,’ Travis says in a company press release.
