Avon Products has announced the appointment of Amy Greene as vice president of investor relations, effective August 13.
Greene will be based in New York and will report into the company’s chief financial officer, Jamie Wilson. While Avon Products has had an IR team up until now, Greene will be the first in-house head of investor relations for some time, a company spokesperson confirms.
Greene brings a decade of investor relations experience to the role, having previously led IR functions at Herbalife and GNC Holdings. She started her career as an equity analyst, spending more than a decade working at Avondale Partners and First Union Securities.
Most recently, she founded LAILA Strategic Consulting, where she served as the company’s chief strategy officer. The company worked to assist executives in designing and implementing IR and public affairs strategies.
