Campbell Soup names Rebecca Gardy as new vice president of investor relations

NYSE-listed Campbell Soup has announced that Rebecca Gardy will join the company as vice president of investor relations.

The role officially begins on March 30 and Gardy will report to Campbell’s CFO Mick Beekhuizen, explains the company in a statement.

She joins from GreenSky, a provider of technology to banks, where she worked as senior vice president of IR, public relations and corporate communications.

During her career, Gardy has held IR positions at a range of other companies including Secureworks, Nike and Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen. She started out working in corporate finance roles at companies such as European American Bank and KPMG.

‘Rebecca brings significant strategic and financial expertise to the role, having led investor relations functions at both publicly traded companies and start-ups,’ says Beekhuizen in the statement.

‘Rebecca will be a great addition to Campbell and a resource to the investment community as we continue on our path to generating sustainable growth and enhancing shareholder value.’

Gardy takes over the IR role from Ken Gosnell, the current vice president of finance strategy and IR at Campbell, who is retiring from his position at the company.
