Compass Minerals has announced the appointment of Douglas Kris as its senior director of investor relations. Kris joined the company on December 21, 2020, and reports into chief financial officer Jamie Standen.
Kris most recently served as the vice president of investor relations at Montage Resources, where he worked for just under two years. During his time there, he was also responsible for the company’s approach to ESG, according to his LinkedIn page. He was also vice president of IR for four years at Eclipse Resources before it merged with Blue Ridge Mountain Resources to form Montage Resources.
He started his career on a trading desk, before moving into institutional equity sales, holding roles at KLR Group, Euro Pacific Capital and BMO Capital Markets.
‘Doug has a proven track record of building integrated and effective investor relations platforms,’ says Standen in a statement. ‘We are excited to call upon his wealth of experience and the fresh perspective he will bring to our engagement strategy.’
